Julia Getzelman, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Getzelman earned her medical degree from Yale University and completed her residency at Children's Hospital Oakland. Most recently, she practiced at Saint Luke's Health Care Center in San Francisco, where she provided care to over 1200 patients. Dr. Getzelman has also established GetzWell Pediatrics, located in Noe Valley, which will open its doors in February 2008. Dr. Getzelman has a special interest in how nutrition and intestinal health contribute to overall wellness, and recently completed the core curriculum of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
Dr. Getzelman is a native Californian and the oldest of five children. She loves the outdoors, music, and learning languages. She currently lives in the Mission District with her husband, Jonathan.
